    In the UK we now have gay marriages (civil partnerships) and the rights they bring. Best of all, hardly any fuss was made when they brought it in. I hope that cheers you up - just to know it CAN be done!

    I love that song. Thank you for sharing. I know that my home state will probably be one of the last battle grounds. I hope that when it comes to us again (they passed DOMA while I was away) people will see the light. It's not about my religion or their religion at this point. It's about fundamental civil rights granted by the government to all its citizens irregardless.
