I still knit! Really, I do.

    And I actually finished something!

    365.286 (simple things)

Simple, quick, sweet, soft. It's all about the yarn, here - Pagewood Farm Alyeska. I have another hank in a different color and I'm going to do the exact same thing. I'll write up the pattern and have it test-knit and then make it available, too.

I've been missing my blog a bit, lately. :) I want to pop in here more. Twitter and Flickr are fun, of course, but I do like using this space, too.

Also, my dog is still cute! Yes, still:

    52.7 (my happy boy)

10 1/2 months old now, still a puppy, but we're getting inklings of "dog" now - more mellowness, better listening. Still a snugglebunny. :) He's the best.

This is my first Spring out of Southern CA in over a decade, and... there is not a real Spring in Southern CA, I don't think. I'm so appreciative of every little bit of green on the trees, the new grass... I'm ready for it to really warm up... because I guess I want to complain about how hot it is? I dunno. But I have seeds to plant! I'm determined to grow food

    365.271 (grow! grow! grow! grow!)

    Yay, Spring!

your scarflet is SO lovely! I'm sure it'll be a huge hit. The puppy is looking so big, and your seeds are such a sight for sore eyes after a long winter- bring on the gardening!

The yarn in your mini-shawl is stunning. STUNNING! It also looks simply fetching on you.

I don't know if I can ever visit you because I might try to smuggle your puppy home with me. Look at him! My goodness. He's heartbreaking. I love.

Good luck with the garden. Fresh tomatoes are heaven.

Great knit! I love the colours. And I must agree - your dog is cute to the max.
I too am attempting to grow me some edibles. I hope your thumb is much greener than mine!

Great Fo and great shots - you look stunning. We got spring this year - rain and greenness everywhere up on our mountain trails. The thing with LA is that sometimes it skips spring, and you know how the summers can be. That's why we live at the beach. Miss you!

Your little scarflet is adorable, more importantly (to me, anyway)--I can't believe I've been on Ravelry forever and just (I think) recognized you as the lovely Mary Heather who used to teach my son at Creative Space in LA...am I right? If so, I still have a tattered copy of your (very popular) pretzel recipe in my recipe binder, and fond memories of how amazing you were with the little kids. I, too, left L.A. for colder climes about 2 years ago, and you can get used to it--and seasons are worth living through the cold. Anyway--so lovely to make the connection (assuming I'm right) and now I'll have to keep paying closer attention!

Cute--the yarn is awesome--did you know Robyn names all her colors after places in Alaska? :-)

I love your little plastic tray full of possibilities. We have the same thing, in our kitchen, growing rosemary, poppies, black-eyed susans, zinnias and one container of lettuce.

Plus, in another container we have basil, oregano, fennel and parsley. We have stuff growing all over the place!

Your little shawl is pretty, too.

I LOVE that scarflette! I'm also willing to test knit, if you need any more; if not, I'll just have to wait impatiently until it comes available. ;-)

Yeah, you're blogging again! Although I cringe at how pudgy I look in that Christmas pic!

I love that shawlette. There's patterns out there that are a little similar, but that one is just exactly right. I hope the pattern is coming soon!
